Our scholarships allow up-and-coming student baseball players to continue to play the game throughout college at NCAA Division 3 schools. Players are eligible for scholarships as long as they meet eligibility criteria to play baseball at their college or university.

NCAA Division 3 schools do not offer full or partial athletic
scholarships to their students. Once parents and recruits
hear that, their interest in committing to a great D3 school
can disappear fast. The Kevin White Foundation make it
possible for student baseball players to develop their skills
on and off the field without the extra financial burden.

Once per year, on or around March 1, the Kevin White Foundation board will meet and determine the scholarship amounts to be awarded for the current year.

Scholarships will be made public on June 1 each year. Payment is contingent on the student playing Division 3 baseball and their school’s roster. Players must make their college team and be rostered on the last day of the college season to receive the scholarship. The payment is contingent on these two things. The check will not be issued until the Division 3 baseball season is completed.

Applications for scholarships from graduating players of St. Charles North and St. Charles East will be accepted. Interviews will be conducted with players and their high school coaches during May.

The primary focus of the scholarship interview:

• Player’s desire to play baseball at the Division 3 college level
• Player’s skill level based on high school baseball performance at St. Charles North or St. Charles East High School, not any travel teams outside of these two high school programs.
• Player’s overall love of the game

The scholarship will be awarded for all years in which the player is eligible. No payment will be given in which a player is red-shirted. The scholarship is available for a maximum of four years. All decisions of the board are final and not subject to challenge.
